sneaking towards the thunder

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 25, 2008, 6:54 PM
Mostly goodbye.

I realized a while ago I was mainly here to participate in the critique circle. However, I realized that I am growing increasingly uneasy on the philosophy of that. Therefore, the reason mostly keeping me here can be discarded. The people (all of you; no, except you) I can and will remain in contact with. Including blissfully ressurected dead. And in any case, I will not be completely gone, so I won't act dead like the above-mentioned. I will simply almost never come here. Those who wish to send me hate-mail or subscribe me to spam-lists can do so at miguelsena at gmail.com.

And if you're Portuguese, do check my blog and blast my opinions to pieces: [link] . I am in need of a good thrashing in that respect.

This is not a definite journal. I may come back, although I don't intend to, but it is intended to be drama-less. I met wonderful people here, and I think I've earned the right to cast benedictions your way.

Omnes valeatis, vobiscum dei.

- Miguel

I am quite tempted to agree, but my opinion is obviously suspicious. hah.

I read an article the other day that advocated that latin as a living language was over by the time of augustus, and that the patters omnipresent in romances but lacking in latin can only be explained by a so-called "ancient italian".

that made me laugh, given such facts as the vulgate and late-era graffiti, but goes a long way to show some people just aren't convinced our languages couldn't have come ex linguà latinà, explaining in that way all the conspurcations et al.
